The color is deep garnet and fruity flavor reminiscent of wild berries and currants, pleasantly bitter.
It pairs beautifully with grilled red meats, game and typical dishes of Friuli.
The maceration 6-8 days, with the addition of selected yeasts, allows the must to capture all the pleasant hints of color and flavor typical of this wine.
