Description: the name 589 derives from the year of the probable birth of our municipality with the current name: Roveredo in Piano, indicated in 1589. ‘Lavoréit’ is the Friulian/Veneto dialect name of Roveredo in Piano and identifies our white from resistant vines.

The wine is produced with white berries grapes from vines resistant to fungal diseases. These vines are the result of constant research by the Cooperative plant nurseries of Rauscedo (Pordenone) and of a selection, which has been going on for several decades, of crosses between classic wine varieties and American and Asian vine varieties resistant to fungal diseases. The advantage of these vines is the minimum number of treatments carried out and the consequent low environmental impact for their cultivation.

Grapes: Fleurtai, Sauvignon Nepis, Soreli, altri vitigni resistenti bianchi.

The harvested grapes are left to cold macerate for about a day, then the must is separated from the skins and left to ferment for 10/12 days. After fermentation, it is left to mature in steel tanks for a few months.
